The Buckeye Tree Lodge is set along the banks of the Kaweah River, with all eleven rooms facing the river, the views and sounds of the river from each room, patio and balcony are simply spectacular. The beautiful grounds include a large grassy lawn and picnic area overlooking the river with huge native sycamore trees to provide shade during warm summer afternoons. All rooms also feature comfortable beds, cable television, a microwave oven, and mini refrigerator. The clean rooms have ceiling fans, windows that you can open, as well as air conditioning and heat. One of the rooms features a two burner stove and toaster, a kitchen sink, as well as dishes, silverware and pots and pans to make your own meals. The nicest restaurant in town is located right next door so you don’t have to cook if you don’t want to.
 
A light breakfast basket includes fresh fruit, a pastry or home baked muffin, and juices. Fresh French roast coffee beans are provided, along with a grinder so that you may make yourself a proper cup of fresh coffee in your coffee maker. Elsah Cort invites you to enjoy a peaceful sojourn in Salt Creek Canyon. The private guest cottage, fits snugly into a hillside and herb garden and was built in 1986 as a home for Elsah's grandma with a panoramic view of mountain, meadow and sky. Cort Cottage is found at the end of a rural road, adjacent to the Case Mountain public land area of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), where hiking, mountain biking and exploring is welcomed. The cottage offers a queen-size bed, a full-size futon sofa in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a private bath with a step-down tile tub, a TV with DVD player, a stereo with CD player, an outdoor deck with shade umbrella, and a carefully selected library of books and games. WiFi satellite internet service is provided. Breakfast includes muffins, granola, fresh fruit, juice, milk and eggs (for the guests to prepare.) Freshly ground coffee and herbal teas are offered in the cottage kitchen. During the winter months, you can enjoy the secluded outdoor hot tub located directly under the Milky Way. The hot tub is not available during the summer months.

Your host works at home, creating collages and poetry for her greeting card company, "The Other Shore", and as an RN and bodyworker, practicing craniosacral therapy and feng shui consulting, and as a nursing burnout retreat instructor. Relaxing integrative bodywork sessions are available for guests in craniosacral therapy. VISA, MC or Discover are accepted. One half of total reservation is required as a deposit, accepted on MC/VISA. Deposit is not refundable for cancellation but can be extended for future stay, if cancellation is made one week prior to reservation. No smoking allowed inside the cottage. No pets accepted. Scott and Marie Munger offer you a peaceful countryside setting nestled against the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The Plantation has eight romantic themed rooms which are named after characters from Gone with the Wind and are decorated accordingly. Imagine the fantasy of staying in the Scarlett O'Hara or Rhett Butler room. Known as the Mesa Verde Citrus Plantation over 100 years ago, the original house, built in 1880 out of large rocks gathered from the Kaweah River, is still standing next to the 4,300 square foot plantation home. The lush grounds that surround the home sport sweeping lawns, many huge ornamental trees including weeping willows, palms and crepe myrtles, fruit trees,shrubs and flowers. Adirondack chairs, loungers, a glider, and a large Jacuzzi hot tub allow you to relax and enjoy the birds and butterflies in a very peaceful setting. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi are open 24 hours a day, with the pool available spring to fall and the Jacuzzi year round.

A full gourmet breakfast is prepared by Chef Marie who has published her own cookbook, Plantation Brunch, featured on the Food Channel and lavishly illustrated by Scott's photos. Breakfast is served in the formal dining room or outside in the spacious garden courtyard overlooking the pool. The breakfast begins with Scott's fresh squeezed orange juice, followed by a buffet laden with fresh fruit, homemade granola, fresh baked culinary creations, and ends with a sumptuous hot entree. Designed in 1901 by a Pasadena architect for Monica's ancestor, Illinois State Senator Fred E.
